Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function effectively under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with appropriate care
• Monitor and provide care to patients who are critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening
• Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and heart monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
• Administer medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about the patient’s condition and care plan

Salary

Salary: $60,150 to $100,000 per year
