Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU travel assignment, requiring a TX or compact license and recent Level III/IV NICU experience.
Responsibilities- Position is for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
- Cares for critically ill neonates in an acute care environment
- Responsible for providing advanced nursing care to critically ill neonates
- Works as part of a multidisciplinary NICU team
- Compliance with scrub and hospital dress code required
- Candidates must be prepared to provide additional documentation upon request
- No overtime or holiday coverage information provided
- Active TX or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent NICU experience required
- AHA or ARC BLS certification required and must be current for duration of assignment
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition certification required
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- Must have no employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- References required as per state regulations (not applicable to Florida or Missouri for this assignment)
- No local candidates accepted; must be located outside a 50-mile radius
