SUMMARY:
The Tool Crib Attendant will be responsible for managing the tool inventory at our Brownsville, Texas facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain tool inventory records
* Order new tools as needed
* Distribute tools to employees
* Collect tools at the end of the workday
* Inspect tools for damage or wear and tear
* Maintain tool crib cleanliness and organization
* Performs other duties as assigned.## Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
* Prior experience in tool management preferred
* Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
* Ability to lift heavy objects
* Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with inventory tracking software
EDUCATION:
* High school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Prolonged periods standing and walking.
* Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, kneel, squat, twist and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
* Must be able to visually inspect machines.
