Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hours per week available

• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday)

• 12-hour orientation required

• Self-scheduling system

• 38-bed unit with daily census of 35 patients

• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients required

• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients

• 2 years of experience in service line required

• Travel experience preferred

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Must be at least 150 miles from facility (local rule not accepted)

• Charting system experience required (Altera experience preferred)

• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac care, wound care, IV therapy, blood product administration, and various medical procedures

• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing

• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer

• Non-billable modules completed during orientation (6-8 hours average)
