The Materials Coordinator will work out of our Brownwood, Texas manufacturing facility, and report to the Director of Procurement. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow and movement of all materials
- Prepare an efficient shipping schedule and evaluate production schedules and determine required materials and ensure availability of all materials
- Prepare reports for all materials consumption based on published production plan
- Maintain information for status of materials on weekly basis
- Collaborate with production team to schedule deliveries and manage delays and ensure compliance to all material requests
- Prepare required reports for cost accounts and procurement to ensure compliance to all account payable requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree
- At least 3‑5 years of supply planning, procurement, logistics and/or sourcing
- Proficient in Excel
- Must be willing to submit a background check and pre‑employment drug screening
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Ability to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
- Ascend/descend a ladder or stairs daily
- Ability to operate a computer and other office technology
- Ability to observe details at close range
- Must be able to work in area with exposure to loud noises
- Ability to work safely in areas with hazardous equipment and materials
- Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication vehicles including verbal and written mechanisms
- Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Occasionally position self to access low spaces
