THE ROLE
As a CNA at Avir at Brownwood, you will be an important part of our residents' daily care and overall quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate, hands‑on care to residents
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Obtaining and documenting vital signs
- Reporting changes in residents' condition to the nursing team
- Answering call lights and responding to residents' needs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Building positive relationships with residents and their families
- Working closely with nurses and other members of the care team
- Current CNA certification in the State of Texas
- Compassionate and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to providing respectful, quality resident care
- Previous long‑term care experience is a plus, but we welcome dedicated CNAs who are ready to make a difference
