18 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Fixed Term until 9 August 2026.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified ELC practitioner to undertake the role of part‑time ELC Practitioner as part of a dynamic team within Holy Family Primary ELC. The setting is open 50 weeks per year and staff work flexibly across the opening hours.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work as a member of the early learning and childcare (ELC) team, to actively support a high‑quality learning environment for all children within an ELC setting. Effectively use positive behaviour strategies with all children in partnership with staff, parents, carers and other appropriate professionals. Days required are every Wednesday and Thursday alternate Fridays.
Qualifications & RequirementsThis position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.
Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
