We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Social Worker to join the Community Mental Health Team in West Lothian. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality mental health social work to adults within the community.

The Role

As a CMHT Social Worker, you will:

* Undertake strengths-based assessments and develop recovery-focused care and support plans

* Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and multi-disciplinary colleagues including NHS partners

* Complete risk, capacity, and safeguarding assessments

* Contribute to statutory duties under relevant mental health and adult support legislation

* Support adults to maintain independence and wellbeing within the community

* Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records and reports

What We’re Looking For

* Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work

* SSSC registration (or eligibility)

* Experience in adult mental health social work or community-based services

* Strong assessment, communication, and multi-agency working skills

* A person-centred, recovery-focused approach

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes complex environment
