Recycling Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join a busy recycling facility in Broxburn (EH52). This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with early finishes.

• Sort recyclable materials including paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, and metals.
• Operate recycling equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect materials to remove contamination and ensure quality standards are met.
• Load and unload recyclable materials from vehicles and containers.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work environment.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Wear and maintain the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report equipment faults, safety concerns, or incidents to supervisors.
• Assist with general housekeeping and site maintenance.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.

• £12.75 per hour
