HGV Class 1 Driver

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Broxburn.

This site pays at a day rate of £180.88.

This is a full‑time role working 4 on 4 off, with various start times available.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating refrigerated units
• Carrying out deliveries and collections in various locations in the UK
• Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)
• Conducting pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on‑site health and safety requirements and understand and comply with the driver’s hours and WTD legislation.

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
