People Solutions are currently recruiting for  an HGV Class 2 Driver  to join our well-established client based in  Livingston  on a temp to perm basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent work, excellent rates of pay, and ongoing opportunities with a reputable transport operation.
This would suit applicants who have worked as an  LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.
Rates of Pay:
£14.75 per hour, rising to £14.97 after 12 weeks
Weekly pay
Shift Pattern:
Any 5 over 6, no Sundays.
4am start

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Deliver goods and verify contents against invoices
Completing up to 25 drops per day
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
Adhering to all transport legislation and company procedures

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
A valid CLEAN UK Category C Driving Licence
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A reliable and punctual approach to work
Good communication and customer service skills
A good understanding of driver regulations and tachograph legislation
Training:
Industry-related training
Ongoing support throughout your assignment
