Senior Engineer; DevSecOps

Plans, designs, implements and deploys secure Dev Sec Ops  solutions across CIS environments, supporting reliable software delivery and mission-critical infrastructure.

• Design, install, configure and integrate Dev Sec Ops  platforms, pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Embed security controls, compliance checks and automated security testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform system testing, validation and acceptance activities; support deployment, migration and operational handover.
• Produce technical designs, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, security artefacts and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, architects, security stakeholders and operational authorities.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, resolve issues and support quality assurance and project governance.
• Provide regular reports covering progress, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, resource use and decisions required.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Dev Sec Ops , Dev Ops, software engineering, platform engineering or infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting secure, on-premises CIS environments
  , enterprise data centres and mission-critical systems.
• Experience building Dev Sec Ops  pipelines, integrating security throughout the SDLC, and implementing Infrastructure as Code, configuration management and automated deployments.
• Experience with containerized and cloud-native technologies hosted on-premises.
• Experience producing technical documentation and operational handover materials.
• Military, defence, government or mission-critical operational experience is desirable
  .
• NATO SECRET security clearance required.

Expertise or experience is required in several of the following areas:

• Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD:
  Secure delivery pipelines, automated builds, testing and deployment;
  Git Lab, Jenkins or Azure Dev Ops
• Infrastructure and automation:
  Infrastructure as Code, provisioning and configuration management;
  Terraform, Ansible, Puppet;
  Python, Bash or Power Shell
• Containers and platforms:
  Docker, Kubernetes, container security, image management and platform engineering
• Cybersecurity:
  Secure coding, SAST, DAST, Software Composition Analysis, vulnerability management, secrets management and identity/access controls
• Systems and infrastructure:
  Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, application hosting, middleware and databases
• Monitoring and observability:
  Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic or equivalent; troubleshooting, incident response and performance monitoring

• At least one Dev Ops/platform/automation certification
  : CKA, Terraform Associate, Docker Certified Associate, or an industry-recognized equivalent.
• Additionally, at least one cybersecurity certification
  :
  CompTIA Security , GSEC, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, or an industry-recognized equivalent.
