The RoleWe’re seeking an Accounts Recievable/Payable Assistant who can bring technical skill, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others. You’ll work across finance operations including invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting, while playing a part in shaping how we continue to grow and refine our business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage arrears, defaults, and payout calculations
- Daily bank reconciliations & credit card processing
- Accounts payable and receivable management (PO, invoice review & entry, batching invoices for payment, invoice preparation
- BAS support and monthly reporting
- Assist with year-end audits, stocktake, and depreciation
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and external accountants
- Collaborate with the Administration team on customer management and support Sales team in finalising purchases and coordinating inventory movements
- Degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance
- Min. 12 years’ months prior experience in accounting/assistant accountant role
- High level of reliability, organisation and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- Must be a permanent resident of Australia
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and a strong team player
