Student Assistant - Nursing & Health Science

Location:

CCGA
- Main Campus (Brunswick)

Employment Type:

Temporary, Part-Time (19.5 hours per week maximum)

Job Summary

This part‑time student position requires employees to positively represent the Office and the College to internal and external constituents, maintain a professional demeanor, and assist with clerical duties and special projects. The student will serve as a first point of contact, perform clerical duties, run campus errands, and assist with lab maintenance and student‑led research projects. The schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student’s class schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintenance of the lab environment, including equipment updates and inventory lists
  • Prepare lab set‑up for Health Science labs
  • Supervise equipment use for student‑led research projects
  • Collaborate on the development of procedural manuals for students
  • Perform clerical duties
  • Run errands at the discretion of the supervisor
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times

Other Requirements

  • Must maintain good academic standing
  • May not be employed in more than one job at a time on campus
  • Must successfully pass a background check
Salary

$9 per hour
