About UsJoin our Team at the College of Coastal Georgia.
Located on the southeast Atlantic coast in Brunswick, midway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida, the College of Coastal Georgia is an undergraduate college in the University System of Georgia with an additional outreach through the Camden Center in Kingsland, Georgia. The College provides an affordable and interactive education in the natural beauty and abundant sunshine of Georgia s Golden Isles, an area noted for world-class golf courses and resorts as well as amazing diversity of maritime habitats, wildlife and sea creatures.

Our campus is located at One College Drive Brunswick, GA 31520.
This position is responsible for providing services for the college third party events and auxiliary services. Will be required to work nights and weekends.
Responsibilities- Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.
- More than one year of related experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Auxiliary Services Professional (CASP) designation.
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
- Degree in Hospitality or Event management
- More than 3 years of related experience in the field of event management and/or higher education auxiliary services.
- Knowledge of event scheduling principles.
- Knowledge reporting and data management.
- Knowledge of budget development and management principles.
- Knowledge of college policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of computers and job related software programs.
- Knowledge of University System of Georgia policies and procedures.
- Skill to make timely decisions.
- Skill in decision making and problem solving.
- Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Skill and ability to attend events after hours and on weekends.
