About Us

Join our Team at the College of Coastal Georgia! Located on the southeast Atlantic coast in Brunswick, midway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida, the College of Coastal Georgia is an undergraduate college in the University System of Georgia with an additional outreach through the Camden Center in Kingsland, Georgia. The College provides an affordable and interactive education in the natural beauty and abundant sunshine of Georgia's Golden Isles, an area noted for world-class golf courses and resorts as well as amazing diversity of maritime habitats, wildlife and sea creatures.

Job Summary

This is a 19.5 hour per week maximum, part-time student position. This position requires employees who are able to positively represent this Office and the College to various internal and external constituents with a positive and professional demeanor at all times. The student employee must have effective writing, verbal communication, and Microsoft Office skills. Student employees must have a high level of integrity as they may come into contact with confidential information.

The student may serve as the first point of contact for the office, perform clerical duties, run errands on campus, and assist with event planning, campus activities, special projects, club and organization operations, and other duties as assigned.

The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student's class schedule. The work schedule is subject to change between semesters or as needed. Students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clerical duties
  • Run errands as specified by supervisor
  • Assist with events and student club and organization operations
  • Perform related work as required.
  • May need to drive a campus golf cart to carry equipment to event site.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times.
  • May not be employed in more than one job at a time on campus.
  • Valid driver's license to drive a campus golf cart.
Proposed Salary

$9.00 per hour
