Job Summary

This position is responsible for administrative support, leading campus programming and overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the Intercultural Resource Center and the Veterans Lounge. This is a grant funded position. This position is designated as Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and assess campus programs that promote student belonging
  • Advise student groups
  • Manage the Intercultural Resource Center and the Veterans Lounge
  • Support supervision of Ameri Corp Vista Team
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate student employees
  • Assist with paperwork and documentation for budget fiscal management of department
  • Serve as office liaison for campus committees
  • Perform related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Educational Requirements: Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
  • Other

    Required Qualifications:

    Must possess a current valid driver license with acceptable driving record and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review
  • Required Experience: More than one year experience in event planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred Educational

    Qualifications:

    Masters degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
  • Preferred Experience: More than one year working in higher education or K12 environment
Proposed Salary

$44,050 per year

  • Abilities: Ability to effectively supervise students. Ability to exercise sound judgment, make reasoned decisions and work collaboratively with others toward common goals
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. Knowledge of college and departmental policies and procedures. Knowledge of computers and job‑related software programs
  • Skills: Skill in prioritizing and organizing work. Skill in the use of such office equipment as a computer, scanner, fax machine, and copier. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public. Skill in event planning
