Job SummaryThis is a 19.5‑hour per week maximum, part‑time student position. The role requires representatives who positively represent this Office and the College to internal and external constituents with a positive and professional demeanor at all times. The student employee must possess effective writing and verbal communication skills and experience using Microsoft Office. Students will maintain a high level of integrity as they may come into contact with confidential information.
Responsibilities include assisting at all home athletic competitions as statisticians, scorekeepers, clock operators and assisting with live video broadcast of events including filming, announcing, and updating on‑screen graphics. The student may be assigned to one of a variety of areas depending upon skill set and aptitude, including concessions staff and/or ticket‑seller. The student assistant will also assist with other departmental events as assigned.
This position has been designated by the institution as a Position of Trust. The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student's class schedule; students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early.
- Assist Athletics Department staff at home competitions
- Perform any related work as required
- Assignments may be based on skill‑level and aptitude in a particular area
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a background check
$9.00 per hour
