Phlebotomist

Job Overview

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center or Client office. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company professionally. • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency, or previous experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

• Work schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
• Employee incentive program: quarterly bonus based on performance metrics for PSTs.

• 401(k) participation only for employees scheduled less than 20 hours per week.
