The College of Coastal Georgia is an undergraduate college in the University System of Georgia located in Brunswick, GA. The School of Nursing & Health Sciences seeks innovative and creative applicants for a 12‑month contract (no tenure‑track) beginning January 5, 2026. The Radiologic Sciences program is a dynamic and rapidly expanding initiative that collaborates with the Nursing program and will transition into newly renovated laboratories and the Simulation Center.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in the Radiologic Science program (maintain on‑campus office hours; prepare lectures, materials, syllabi, course calendar, exams, quizzes; maintain LMS page; enter grades, etc.)
- Coordinate clinical education with didactic education and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Maintain detail‑oriented record keeping and scheduling.
- Participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction and supervise students in clinical settings such as healthcare facilities, labs, and simulation (travel to sites as needed).
- Support and collaborate with the program director to assure effective program operations.
- Participate in accreditation and assessment processes and in student retention and progression strategies.
- Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.
- Maintain current knowledge of program and college policies, procedures, and student progress.
- Provide service including department, school, and college committees; conduct academic advising and career counseling.
- Educational Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in a field related to radiologic science.
- Other Required Qualifications
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.
- Proficiency in course development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
- Current immunization records and CPR certification required by clinical facilities.
- Current valid driver license with acceptable driving record and yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.
- Required Experience
- More than two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- More than one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT‑accredited program.
- Master’s degree in a field related to radiologic science.
- Experience with JRCERT accreditation processes.
