At First Light Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are there to help them maintain their independence so that they do not have to rely on their family members, friends, or neighbors to provide their care for them. The care we provide ranges from personal care to companion care, including conversation, medication reminders, and transportation.

We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years and are very passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview :

As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at First Light Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the care team to ensure each client receives the compassionate care they need while enjoying the quality of life they deserve. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the flexibility to manage your schedule around client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation.

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.

Handle light housekeeping tasks to ensure a pleasant environment.

Provide medication reminders and support with mobility and transfers.

Assist clients with transportation and errands as needed.

Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Compassionate and dependable demeanor.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a client's home.

Reliable transportation for commuting to clients.

Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.

Bonus If You:

Have prior caregiving experience.

Possess CPR and First Aid certification.

Are familiar with the specifics of elderly care and compassion strategies.

Employment Type

& Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability, including weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Brunswick, Georgia.
