Full‑time position with ITC Federal, LLC. The role supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located in Glynco, GA, with additional service locations in Artesia, NM;
Charleston, SC; and Cheltenham, MD (including Washington, DC). The Network Engineer Team Lead will maintain and modernize the FLETC network infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

• Prioritize and oversee network outages, projects, and tasks while providing technical guidance to ensure consistent network uptime and performance.
• Design and implement operational network systems and prototypes based on current and government requirements.
• Apply extensive knowledge of network principles, protocols, and design to evaluate and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with Network and System Engineers, equipment vendors, and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical challenges.
• Coordinate technical issues with One Net/HSIN Engineering personnel across the DHS network topology.
• Review and provide technical recommendations for all Infrastructure Change Control Board (ICCB) packets.
• Communicate recommendations and implement changes during network rollouts in coordination with local, One Net/HSIN, and DC teams.
• Lead design, installation, configuration, backup, administration, upgrade, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of LAN, WAN, and network security hardware and software.
• Maintain enterprise network infrastructure at optimal performance levels while adhering to DHS and FLETC security standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Systems Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Engineering.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a USCIS Public Trust security clearance.
• Demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and effectiveness in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.

• Network-related certification such as CompTIA Network+.
• Professional certification in Cisco or HPE Aruba technologies (e.g., CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional).
• Experience supporting federal law enforcement or DHS customers.
• Experience with enterprise‑level network modernization and infrastructure optimization initiatives.

Candidate must be able to function in a general office environment.
