The Department of AI & Health seeks an experienced Data Scientist 2 to lead research projects in medical imaging, electronic health records, genomics, and real‑time patient monitoring. This mid‑level position combines hands‑on data science expertise with team leadership responsibilities, playing a pivotal role in establishing the department as a leader in AI‑driven health research.

• Application Development and System Design:
  Lead design and implementation of software solutions across the SDLC, leveraging technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and T‑SQL.
• Application Implementation and Maintenance:
  Develop and maintain applications, prepare workflow documents, and ensure program operation and standards compliance.
• Communication:
  Translate client requirements to technical specifications, provide user guidance, and support training and troubleshooting.
• Supervision:
  Serve as team lead to junior developers.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field with at least three years of related experience.

• Prior involvement in healthcare, academic operations, or public sector analytics.
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Encompass) or academic admissions systems (AMCAS).

• Maintain confidentiality.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Shift: Days/M–F (out‑of‑normal business hours may be required). Salary Range: $56,600 – $72,200 annually (commensurate with qualifications). Recruitment Period: 11/21/25 – Until Filled. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, retirement, vacation, sick leave, and 13 paid holidays.
