Warehouse Supervisor

We are expanding our Logistics and Warehouse Operations and are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor who brings organization, leadership, and an eye for process excellence to every task.

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the seamless flow of materials, from receipt and storage to issuance and delivery, to ensure production runs at full capacity. Whether managing inventory accuracy, improving workflow efficiency, or mentoring team members, your leadership directly supports the fabrication and assembly of mission‑critical systems used by the U.S. Navy and global maritime partners.

Success Criteria

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Material Handling team, ensuring every item is received, stored, and delivered with precision and care. You’ll maintain accountability for material tagging, preservation, inspection, and movement, all while promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.

Your team will rely on your deep understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, put‑away, issuing, picking, cycle counting, and inventory audits. You’ll ensure proper training across forklift, crane, and truck operations and drive compliance with all work instructions.

The most successful leaders in this role bring exceptional organizational skills, technical understanding, and the ability to triage and prioritize under pressure. Success means maintaining material readiness that supports on‑time production while continually identifying opportunities for process improvement and team development.

This position is responsible for leading, training, and developing a high‑performing Material Handling team that supports production excellence. You’ll oversee all material logistics activities, uphold the highest safety standards, and ensure materials are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in pristine condition to meet production demands.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 8–10 years of experience leading material handlers in a project‑based manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to triage and prioritize material requests in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced setting
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office, warehousing systems, and electronic document scanning)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Safety‑conscious mindset and proven leadership in promoting safe practices
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT Physical
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.)
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, and perform duties requiring standing, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts, vibration, and varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications
  • RF gun/barcode scanning experience
  • Overhead crane experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience in logistics or warehousing for heavy industrial or naval equipment manufacturing
