The Associate Director of Housing Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight of housing facilities operations, assignments and billing, and technology systems to ensure efficient, data‑driven processes that enhance student satisfaction, retention, and operational effectiveness. The role serves as the senior operations lead for assignments, billing, and maintenance partnerships. Some weekend and evening commitments are required.
Responsibilities- Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, business administration, or a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Office required.
- Background Check/Position of Trust.
- At least 3 years of higher education experience or closely related field.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Master’s degree in higher education administration, business administration, or related field.
- Experience with Star Rez preferred.
- Experience with Maxient preferred.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Ability to make data‑driven decisions to improve housing operations.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
- Knowledge of housing operations, occupancy management, and student‑housing systems.
- Understanding of higher education and student development principles.
- Knowledge of state, system, and institutional policies related to student housing.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Skill in project management, organization, and customer service.
- Skill in data analysis and reporting.
