OverviewAre you looking to join a company where you'll work with new, top of the line heavy equipment? Keen, a Wallenius Wilhelmsen company, is seeking a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Painter at our equipment processing center in Brunswick, GA.
Starting pay is $25.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Description WHAT YOU'LL DO- Work with electrostatic, airless, and pressure pot painting equipment applying various enamel and urethane paints.
- Prepare surfaces for painting.
- Apply/mix/store paint safely and according to company specifications and OSHA safety regulations.
- Disassemble limited parts of machinery for painting.
- Operate heavy construction equipment and lift trucks.
- Apply the decaling process.
- Ability to pass PFT for respirator use as specified by OSHA.
- Follow OSHA and company specifications for paint application and storage.
- Ability to disassemble limited parts of machinery for painting.
- Capability to operate heavy construction equipment and lift trucks.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the decal process.
- Steel‑toed boots/shoes.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Climb, stoop, crawl, bend, stretch, lift and carry.
- Walk the yard area for purposes of inspection and identification of machinery and/or pieces.
- Willing to work outside all year long in all reasonable weather conditions.
- Complete a full workday walking and/or standing.
- Perform work from a wide range of positions including: standing, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, reclining, and climbing on scaffolding or ladders.
