Repair Station Sr Inspector A&P - Second Shift

Repair Station Senior Inspector A&P – Second Shift at Gulfstream Aerospace. This role requires the incumbent to perform quality control inspections and documentation reviews for Gulfstream aircraft during second shift hours (Mon‑Thu, 1600–0230). The position is part of the Quality Control/Assurance team and ensures aircraft and components meet FAA/CAA requirements before return to service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control inspections of aircraft, engines and components to ensure conformity to FAA‑approved data.
  • Complete inspections of repairs, alterations, and changes to maintain airworthiness.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements during maintenance or outfitting.
  • Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records of work performed on aircraft and components.
  • Collaborate with Repair Station (RTS) to produce timely and accurate aircraft records.
  • Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion prior to approval for return to service.
  • Ensure aircraft and components are airworthy before flight activities.
  • Mentor technicians on effective documentation practices.
  • Communicate with management to identify work assignments and delivery schedules.
  • Provide technical support to inspection personnel for FAA/CAA documented requirements.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 8 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
  • At least 2 years of Gulfstream aircraft experience and 2 years of aircraft inspection experience.
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
  • Knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, shop mathematics and quality‑control procedures.
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance and/or quality control systems and methodologies.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
