Are you passionate about cars and eager to turn that enthusiasm into a career? Bill Dodge Auto Group is experiencing growth and is seeking a few Express Technicians to join our team! As an Express Technician, you'll be responsible for oil and filter changes, light maintenance, mechanical repairs, and conducting Maine State Inspections (once licensed). We provide paid training, certification opportunities, mentorship, and uniforms to ensure your success from the very beginning.
Compensation: $18 – $24 per hour depending on experience and aptitude
Responsibilities:
Performing a Multipoint Vehicle InspectionPerform Maine State Inspections (Once licensed)Perform lube, oil, and filter changesPerform general maintenance including tires and brakesPerform general maintenance and repair as assigned and with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards by documenting the cause and correction on each repair, ensuring all items on the repair order are complete.Ensure that work areas are kept clean and safe, and that all equipment is being used properly and is well maintained.Meet or exceed all manufacturer required training.Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to hazardous materials.Job Requirements / Qualifications:
Satisfactory Background CheckValid Driver’s LicenseValid State of Maine Vehicle Inspection License preferred but not requiredCurrent ASE and/or OEM Certifications are strongly preferredAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and informationKnowledge in automotive repair and maintenanceTeam PlayerAbility to learn new technology, service procedures and specificationsShould be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentAble to endure repetitive and prolonged bending and reachingWhat We Offer:
