Maine Maritime Academy has an opening for an adjunct instructor in engineering to teach BIW ET230 Strength of Materials during the 2026 spring semester. This is an undergraduate course taught at MMA’s Maritime Industrial Workforce Training Center in Brunswick, Maine
. This course is part of MMA’s Associate Degree Programs in Ship Design and Ship Production. Students in these programs are apprentices at Bath Iron Works. The course meets once per week for approximately 3.5 hours.
