Long Term Sub Ed Tech at BJHS

Brunswick's Special Education Department seeks a long term substitute educational technology specialist to join our Brunswick Junior High School team. The role begins on September 8 and continues until determined otherwise. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic, functional, and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth.

Successful candidates will be able to:

• Collaborate closely with team members to manage students’ programs.
• Demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students’ challenging behaviors.
• Support students in the regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1.
• Implement students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
• Support students’ unique needs as appropriate.
• Provide support on Special Education transportation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 60 college credits and a Maine Criminal History Records Check.
