We’re looking for CAD Technicians and Designers who want more than just a drafting job—they want to develop specialized skills, contribute to structural projects across Maine, and thrive in a culture that celebrates collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence — including our expanding mid-coast presence in Brunswick, Maine.
We want to connect with Structural Engineers who:
- Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field (preferred).
- Have 2–4 years of CAD/BIM experience in structural engineering.
- Are proficient with AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and other structural CAD/BIM platforms.
- Understand structural systems including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Apply QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
- Communicate clearly, stay organized, and thrive in collaborative project teams.
- Produce and refine structural engineering drawings, models, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and other CAD/BIM platforms.
- Apply structural design information to create accurate steel, concrete, timber, and masonry plans.
- Coordinate drafting efforts with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Conduct QA/QC checks on your own drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with codes and project standards.
- Maintain CAD/BIM standards, templates, and libraries.
- Support project management with documentation and deliverable tracking.
- Assist in preparing construction submittals, client deliverables, and project presentations.
- Collaborate on preliminary designs, layouts, and field coordination as needed.
