Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and a Maine or compact RN license.

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• AHA certifications must be completed before start if non-AHA certifications are submitted
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Work in the Medical/Surgical Central unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Float policy of 25 miles between facilities as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Candidates located within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local and subject to local pay rates
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should be identified during consideration
• Use of Air Pods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited
