American Traveler is hiring an RN for a GI/Endoscopy outpatient unit position requiring a ME or compact license and 2 years of experience.

• Work in the ACU-OPD (Endoscopy) unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour contract assignment with day shift hours from 07:00 to 16:30
• Uses Epic EMR
• Float policy requires floating within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed

• Active RN license (ME or compact) required
• BLS and other AHA certifications required (non-AHA equivalents accepted at submission but must be completed before start)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Provide direct patient care and support for GI/Endoscopy procedures in the outpatient setting
• Local candidates are accepted but are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local, which affects pay rate eligibility
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
• Use of Air Pods, laptops, and cell phones is prohibited while on the unit
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
