Bath Brunswick Veterinary Associates (BBVA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team.
Why BBVA?We’re a progressive, AAHA-accredited, 6-doctor practice located in scenic Brunswick, Maine. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, closed weekends, and we serve a variety of patients—dogs, cats, exotics, and occasionally even some poultry!
We are actively investing in staff development, technician utilization, and expanded services—including advanced dentistry, behavioral medicine, internal medicine, oncology, and more.
What You’ll DoAs an LVT, you’ll take ownership all areas of the hospital
- Placing IV catheters, intubating patients, and full anesthetic monitoring and recovery
- Leading Technician Appointments
- Dental prophylaxis
- Using tools like laser therapy and in-house lab equipment (Zoetis)
- Driving the flow and efficiency of appointments.

ResponsibilitiesMajor Duties:
- Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for in-patient medical care- administer medications, assist or perform treatments, diagnostics & monitoring, place IV catheters, draw blood, run lab tests, administer IV fluids, cleaning, feeding, and walking patients as needed.
