Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at Brunswick Auto Mart in Brunswick, OH. The Salesperson will greet and engage customers, assess their needs, and guide them through vehicle selection, test drives, and purchase options. Daily responsibilities include explaining product features and pricing, preparing sales quotes, assisting with financing and lease options, and completing necessary documentation accurately. The role also involves following up with prospects and existing customers, maintaining an organized sales pipeline, and collaborating with the sales and finance teams to meet individual and dealership sales goals.
The Salesperson is expected to maintain a professional appearance, stay informed about current inventory and promotions, and provide a positive, respectful customer experience.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a diverse range of customers.
- Sales, negotiation, and closing abilities, including comfort working toward sales targets and handling objections professionally.
- Basic business and financial understanding to explain pricing, financing, leasing, and trade-in options accurately.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple customers, appointments, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfort with technology, including dealership CRM systems, email, and web-based tools used for inventory, pricing, and customer communication.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism while representing the dealership and handling customer information.
- Prior experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and participate in training is essential.
- Availability to work full-time schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
