Overview
Orthodontic / Pediatric Dental Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Brunswick, MD
Schedule: Part-Time | 2 days per week
Compensation: $18 – $26 per hour (DOE)
Smile Station Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics is excited to add an Orthodontic / Pediatric Dental Assistant to our growing team in Brunswick, MD. This is a great opportunity for an assistant with experience in orthodontics and/or pediatric dentistry who enjoys working with children and being part of a supportive, close-knit practice.

Responsibilities- Assist with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dental care
- Create a positive, calm, and engaging experience for children and families
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances based on experience
- Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed
- Prepare and efficiently turn over treatment rooms
- Educate patients and parents on treatment plans and at-home care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control protocols
- Orthodontic experience preferred
- Pediatric dental assisting experience strongly preferred
- Active dental assisting license/certification per Maryland requirements
- Friendly, patient-focused, and confident working with children
- Team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable
