Overview

Automotive Assistant Manager role at Mountain View Tire and Auto Service. The position is a management-track role with a comprehensive training program and opportunities to lead guest experiences and service operations.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Store Manager on store operations and decisions related to hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and terminating employees.
  • Support automotive technicians by training and developing teammates on shop operations and guest services to maintain a productive sales environment.
  • Assist with scheduling employees, completing timecards, and assigning work to Lube and Tire technicians.
  • Perform duties of an automotive technician when needed.
  • Attend meetings and clinics to maintain current knowledge of tools, parts, and repairs.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • High school or GED equivalent.
  • 2+ years of automotive and sales experience.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills and basic algebra to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Guest and team focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive State Inspector License.
  • ASE Automotive Certifications.
  • Proven automotive or automotive quick lube sales experience.
  • Leadership experience.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: $16-$20 per hour. Pay is based on experience. This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.
