Behavior Technician
We are looking for a dedicated practitioner to provide behavioral health and educational services using Applied Behavior Analysis principles to individuals with autism, related mental health disorders, or intellectual disabilities in 1:1, 1:2, or small group settings.
Base Pay Range: $45,165.00 /hr – $51,940.00 /hr
Classification: Non‑exempt
Reports To: Clinic Coordinator
Location: Worthington/Newark
- Deliver instruction and assessments following training procedures and supervisor feedback.
- Implement skills acquisition and behavior modification plans.
- Provide intensive behavioral health treatment, including conflict resolution, emotion management, and coping strategies.
- Perform crisis interventions as needed and when approved.
- Collect and analyze service data in accordance with Boundless procedures.
- Prepare teaching and treatment materials and maintain a clean instructional area.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting goal progression.
- Maintain compliance files and report unusual incidents or medical situations.
- Complete first aid and other required trainings.
- Attend all team meetings, program meetings, and staff development days.
- Communicate professionally with staff, families, and external professionals.
- Participate in fundraising activities and client transport when needed.
- High School diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, human services, or mental health.
- College degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
- First Aid, CPR (adult, child, infant) certification; training will be provided if not certified.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance; no more than 5 points on license.
- One to two years of direct work with children and families, especially individuals with autism spectrum or developmental disabilities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required postures (kneeling, crouching, sitting).
- Ability to transport clients in Boundless vehicle when assigned.

Physical Demands & SkillsRequires sustained physical exertion, frequent postural changes, and quick response to dangerous situations. Must remain alert throughout the shift and handle client restraint as needed.
