Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will create complex components by aligning materials and connecting parts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of household appliances, including ranges, refrigerators, laundry machines, dishwashers, and ventilation systems. This role requires technical expertise in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills. The Appliance Installation Technician will provide installation services from pre-site inspection to job completion, ensuring all installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Perform Installations
Install a variety of household appliances according to manufacturer guidelines and project specifications with precision and accuracy.
Operate Delivery Vehicles
Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and vans to transport materials to job sites.
Provide Customer Service
Communicate effectively with clients during installations to ensure excellent customer service and address any questions or concerns.
Handle Heavy Items
Safely handle moving and lifting of heavy items using proper techniques to prevent injury.
Maintain Work Area
Keep the work area clean and organized at all times before, during, and after installations.
Complete Paperwork
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork related to installations and deliveries.
Collaborate with Team
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Measurement and Preparation
Take accurate measurements, prepare work areas, and ensure appliances are installed securely.
Material Handling
Safely transport appliances, tools, and equipment to job sites.
Professionalism
Interact professionally with clients, address questions or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
Safety Compliance
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe handling and installation of appliances.
Communication
Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and team members for effective project coordination.
Problem-Solving
Identify and troubleshoot any installation challenges or issues, providing effective solutions.
Documentation
Maintain records of completed projects, upload photos, and notes for all installations.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills and can-do attitude
Effective verbal and written communication skills
High school diploma or GED
Certification or diploma from a technical school is preferred but not required
Previous experience as an Installer or in a similar role
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools
Strong understanding of quality control principles
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
Ability to operate 26ft box truck is a plus.
This role routinely uses standard lifting equipment and straps. Uses and maneuvers hand trucks.
Job Type & Compensation
Full-time (Mon - Fri)
Weekends As Needed
Ability to earn COMMISSION in addition to Base Pay
Motivated individuals can reach $100K's in earnings
Training opportunities available
Eligible for bonus and/or profit sharing
This position requires the use of tools which are to be supplied by the employee and brought to work on a daily basis.
