Finance Manager

As  Finance Manager , you will play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy, working closely with local and international teams.

Your role as Finance Manager:

In this pivotal position, you will manage all financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Belgian regulations and delivering precise reporting to stakeholders. You'll handle tax matters, oversee cash flows, and support construction and development projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Director in Belgium and collaborating with the Group CFO, your expertise will drive operational success across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare detailed financial reports for the Board of Directors and Group headquarters.
Monitor project finances related to construction and development initiatives.
Collaborate with external property management teams to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare consolidated financial statements and support year-end closing procedures.
Implement robust internal accounting controls and processes.
Manage financial accounting tasks such as reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and projections.
Ensure compliance with Belgian tax laws and government reporting requirements.

Process tenant invoices, send reminders, and prepare files for legal recovery when necessary.
Handle day-to-day banking transactions and relationships.
Supervise invoicing processes, payment approvals, collections and tenant reminders.

We are seeking an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Key qualifications:

University degree in Finance or a related field.
5+ years of experience in audit or controlling/finance management roles within real estate or construction industries

Proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Fluent in English (required); knowledge of Dutch or French is highly beneficial.
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with acquisition due diligence processes is advantageous.
Adaptability to work within a small entity while contributing to an international group's goals.
