To support our continued growth, we are looking for a System & Cloud Engineer to join our team.

Projects across Brussels and Flanders

Contract type:
Open to both employees and freelancers

Languages:

Professional proficiency in Dutch and English is required. French is a plus.

Your role

As a System & Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing modern IT infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will work closely with clients across various industries, helping them modernize their infrastructure, improve performance, strengthen security, and ensure business continuity.

What you'll do

Design, implement, and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions

Manage and optimize Microsoft and Linux-based environments

Administer cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS

Configure and maintain virtualized environments

Automate infrastructure deployment and operational tasks

Monitor system performance, availability, and security

Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives

Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and cloud-related issues

Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver scalable and reliable solutions

Contribute to infrastructure best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing

Support pre-Sales activities by providing technical expertise when needed

Your profile

Technical skills

Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS

Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, Firewalls)

Experience with Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Power Shell, Bash, Terra Form, or Ansible

Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

Understanding of monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 3 years of experience in system engineering, cloud engineering, or infrastructure management

Relevant certifications are considered a strong asset

Azure Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert

AWS Certified Solutions Architect

VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

Hashi Corp Terra Form Associate
