Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation aimed at modernizing its business processes, information systems, and ways of working. As part of this transformation, it is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment between operational needs and technology solutions.
Key responsibilities
Ensure alignment between business requirements and IT solutions.
Design enterprise architectures and technical solutions.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
Provide pragmatic recommendations and solution proposals.
Define and maintain architecture standards.
Ensure proper documentation of solutions.
Participate in the validation of project deliverables.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Define and implement the organization's digital transformation strategy.
Develop and maintain an Enterprise Architecture framework.
Establish architecture governance processes and committees.
Build and maintain a multi-year digital transformation roadmap.
Coordinate architecture activities across strategic programs and projects.
Lead architecture boards and ensure consistency in decision-making.
Contribute to a secure and coherent cloud strategy.
Drive cybersecurity-related initiatives, including IAM, asset management, and NIS2 compliance.
Support infrastructure transformation initiatives, including greenfield environments.
Oversee application portfolio inventory and rationalization.
Ensure consistency between legacy systems and new technology solutions.
Coach architects and project teams.
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management.
Contribute to capability mapping and reference architecture development.
Profile
Education & experience:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in complex IT projects.
Strong background in enterprise architecture and digital transformation.
Experience with in the public sector (ministries, European institutions, government organizations, etc.) is considered a strong asset.
Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks (Togaf is a plus).
Experience with modeling methodologies such as BPMN, UML, and Archi Mate.
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of Micro Services architecture and application integration.
Experience with data management and infrastructure architecture.
