We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This role bridges data engineering, semantic modeling, and Business Intelligence, transforming fragmented reporting environments into robust, automated, and scalable analytics platforms. You will play a key role in enabling Finance and executive reporting, ensuring data quality, performance, and governance at scale, while driving the adoption of modern Dev Ops-driven analytics practices.
Key responsibilities Analytics platform & Dev Ops Design and maintain Fabric deployment pipelines across Dev, UAT, and Production environments
Implement CI/CD practices using GIT (Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub)
Automate environment parameterization (data sources, Lake houses, endpoints)
Define and enforce development standards, governance, and documentation
Data engineering (Microsoft Fabric) Architect scalable data platforms using Medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
Build and orchestrate data ingestion pipelines (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2)
Develop transformations using PySpark, SQL, and Power Query
Integrate data from enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Azure SQL, APIs, Snowflake)
Semantic modeling & Power BI Design enterprise semantic models using star schema principles
Develop and optimize complex DAX calculations for financial and analytical use cases
Implement high-performance architectures (e.g., Direct Lake, optimized import models)
Utilize advanced tools (Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit) for model governance
Performance, Security & user experience Implement Row-Level Security (Rls) and data access frameworks
Optimize end-to-end performance across datasets and reports
Deliver executive-grade dashboards with strong UX and data storytelling principles
Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and usability
Required skills & experience Technical expertise Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2)
Advanced Power BI & DAX modeling expertise
Proficiency in SQL, Power Query (M), and PySpark/Python
Experience with GIT-based Version Control and CI/CD processes
Requirements 6+ years in Business Intelligence / Data Engineering / Analytics
5+ years working with Power BI (including data modeling)
Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Fabric/Azure)
Microsoft Certification (e.g., DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer)
Experience in Finance, FP&A, or regulated environments
Key competencies Strong architectural mindset with focus on scalability and governance
Ability to translate business needs into data solutions
Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
Focus on quality, performance, and continuous improvement
