Solution Architect ​/ Presales Lead (Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Position: Inetum - Solution Architect / Presales Lead (Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations)
About the role

We are looking for a senior Solution Architect and Presales Lead who combines deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O expertise with a strong commercial instinct and the ability to design winning, scalable solutions. In this role, you will be the technical and functional anchor during the Sales process - from opportunity identification to proposal and contract award - and will transition into the delivery phase as the solution authority ensuring architectural integrity throughout implementation.

Your responsibilities

Solution architecture:

Design holistic, scalable D365 F&O solutions that address complex business requirements across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or other modules

Define the overall solution blueprint including integrations, data migration strategy, security design and extension approach

Ensure architectural decisions follow Microsoft best practices and align with client IT strategy

Evaluate build vs. configure trade-offs and guide the use of ISV solutions where appropriate

Maintain architectural oversight during delivery, resolving design conflicts and ensuring solution integrity

Presales & business development:

Lead RFP/RFI responses, coordinating cross-functional input to create compelling and commercially sound proposals

Conduct discovery workshops and client demos to understand needs and position Inetum's D365 value proposition

Create and present solution designs, implementation roadmaps and ROI analyses for client executives

Collaborate with Sales teams to develop pricing, effort estimates and engagement models

Build and maintain relationships with Microsoft account teams to identify and progress joint opportunities

Client advisory:

Act as a trusted advisor to CIO/CFO-level stakeholders on their ERP strategy and digital transformation roadmap

Facilitate architecture review boards, technology assessments and solution validation workshops

Guide clients on cloud transition, data strategy, and integration of D365 F&O with the broader Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Power Platform, Teams)

Practice development:

Contribute to the development of Inetum's solution offerings, accelerators, and go-to-market assets for D365 F&O

Define and promote architectural standards and patterns within the D365 practice

Support capability development by mentoring senior consultants and sharing architectural expertise

Represent Inetum at Microsoft events, community forums, and client round tables

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or Dynamics AX, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect or senior presales role

Demonstrated ability to architect end-to-end D365 F&O solutions across multiple functional domains

Strong knowledge of integration patterns (Dataverse, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Data Entities) and data migration approaches

Track record of winning complex ERP deals through high-quality presales and solution design

Excellent executive presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences

Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing models and commercial structures

Fluent in English and Dutch or French

Microsoft Certified:
Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or higher is required

Azure or Power Platform certifications are a strong plus

Nice to have:

Experience in a Microsoft partner environment

Knowledge of complementary ISV solutions in the D365 ecosystem

Experience with Microsoft Fasttrack for Dynamics 365 programme

Exposure to industry cloud solutions (e.g. Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing, Financial Services)

Proven experience leading or mentoring a team of consultants and/or developers
