HappeningIT is looking for a hands-on Data Manager & Data Engineer (Expert level) to join a strategic digital transformation program within a public sector organization. The program focuses on document digitization, process modernization, and building a data-driven ecosystem using Azure Cloud Dataplatformen.
You will work in a complex, multi-actor environment, with responsibility for both data engineering and data management activities, across both on-premise and cloud systems.
Role & responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will:
Design and implement data pipelines (batch and real-time)
Migrate data from on-premise systems to Azure Cloud Dataplatformen
Set up secure, scalable data integration and data Storage architectures
Ensure robust data transformation and integration processes
Support the collection and processing of structured and unstructured data
Build solutions for data access, including APIs and secure endpoints
Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and SAP BO
Apply data security policies and participate in access control implementations
Support predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases
As a Data manager, you will:
Define and maintain a business glossary and data dictionary
Implement frameworks for master data and metadata management
Lead efforts in data governance and ensure data quality across domains
Collaborate with business units to align on data definitions and usage
Contribute to building a data-driven culture across the organization
Provide recommendations on data policies, standards, and lifecycle management
Help define KPIs and structure data for analytical and operational reporting
Act as liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

Contract:
Fixed-term, renewable upon positive evaluation
