We are looking for an Assistant Data Management professional to support the implementation of data lifecycle management, data governance and information management initiatives while ensuring compliance with GDPR and data quality standards.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and external partners to improve data governance processes, support ICT projects and deliver high-quality data management practices across the organization.
Key responsibilities
Support Data Lifecycle Management (Dlm), GDPR compliance, information security and data quality initiatives
Gather and analyse business information requirements to align data with business needs
Transform large volumes of varied data into actionable and valuable insights
Align business units with data lifecycle management processes
Develop and support data governance processes and best practices
Organize and facilitate training sessions and learning programs
Lead and coordinate teams of external stakeholders
Support and coach employees on data management practices
Provide advice on ICT projects related to data management and governance
Organize and coordinate the distribution of work across assigned activities
Produce high-quality technical and functional documentation
Required experience & qualifications
Higher education degree or equivalent professional experience
Professional experience in Data Management, Data Governance or a similar role
Knowledge of Data Lifecycle Management (Dlm), GDPR, information security and data quality, supported by relevant certification or diploma
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into effective data management solutions
Experience aligning business processes with data lifecycle management principles
Experience transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights
Experience developing and implementing data governance processes
Experience organizing and facilitating training programs
Experience leading teams of external stakeholders
Experience supporting and coaching employees
Experience advising on ICT projects
Knowledge of common software packages and business applications
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
Languages
Professional working proficiency in English (mandatory) and
Professional working proficiency in Dutch and/or French (mandatory)
Technology environment
Data Lifecycle Management (Dlm), GDPR, Information Security, Data Governance, Data Quality, Microsoft Office, ICT Project Support, Technical Documentation and Business Analysis.
