Certified Lab Scientists are eligible for $10,000 Sign on Bonus.

The Medical Lab Scientist is responsible for accurately performing medical laboratory tests following established policies and procedures; adhering to performance and quality standards. Additional duties include: clinical instrument maintenance, new test and instrumentation development, training of other laboratory co‑workers, participation in laboratory committees and projects, maintaining readiness for inspection, and providing guidance to other co‑workers.

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, medical laboratory science, medical technology, or equivalent qualified major (CLIA 42
  
  CFR
  493.1405(b)(5)(i)(B)).

• Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist (certification by the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathology, National Credentialing Agency, American Medical Technologists, or the Board of Registry of the American Association of Bioanalysts) at the time of hire or promotion.
• OR
• One year of clinical laboratory experience performing non‑waived patient testing and passing a nationally recognized certification exam (AMT or ASCP) within 5 years and 6 months from the hire date.

• Visual acuity and color discrimination.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
