Summary

Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Works in collaboration with the physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.

• High school graduate or equivalent with GED.
• Completion of a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through AAMA.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through NHA.
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through NCCT.
• Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through AMCA.
• CPR required.

• Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.

• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, and clinical quality initiatives preferred.
• Familiar with computers and electronic medical records preferred.
• Able to lift 25 pounds.
