Licensed Practical Nurse

Summary

Responsible for assisting Registered Nurses with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.

Must be a graduate of a school of nursing. Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and unit-specific orientation as provided and required.

Valid Licensed Practice Nurse License required for the State where services will be provided. Must have current CPR certification.

Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently.

Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
