Safari Dental and Orthodontics is a fast paced and exciting dental practice seeking a dynamic personality to help us serve our patients in an extraordinary way! We provide pediatric, general and orthodontic services. We have an immediate opening for a full time dental assistant.

• Providing outstanding customer service with the patient as #1 priority; partnering with staff, timely and successfully resolving patient complaints, concerns and questions
• Fully assisting the dentist chair side in the process of treating patients
• Taking and developing radio graphs
• Recording patients’ medical history; taking blood pressure and pulse
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• Providing patients with instructions for oral care following appointments and procedures
• Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to improve or maintain oral health
• Performing operatory set up and break down
• Sterilizing instruments

• Fits our dynamic culture and values
• Has a minimum of 2 years experience as a dental assistant
• Certifications required: RDA
• A self-starter with a positive outlook, plus a solution-oriented and proactive approach
• A strong service mentality, supports the needs of patients and pays attention to detail
• Team oriented
